Join Parker\’s Tavern as an Events Server. You will be part of our events floor team, delivering flawless service for weddings, conferences, and private dinners in our Ballroom and Library. You will work with a dedicated team to ensure outstanding guest experiences.

University Arms consists of 192 design-led bedrooms, complemented by Parker’s Tavern, a high-end, quintessentially British Restaurant and Bar, Library, and a stunning Ballroom. Set in the heart of Cambridge, University Arms is the ‘go to’ destination, alluring visitors with the promise of a sense of modern luxury.
Responsibilities
- Be the face of our guests’ experience from arrival to departure, ensuring a memorable experience.
- Seek opportunities to go above and beyond to ensure every guest leaves happy.
- Work as part of a team to deliver fantastic food and beverage at events such as weddings, conferences, and private dinners in our Ballroom and Library.
- Flexibility in availability; the role involves occasional early mornings and late nights.
- Support the management team to ensure guests leave with a fully positive dining experience.
- Hands-on on-the-floor role, including some lifting to set up rooms.
- Flexible, multi-skilled approach; you may be asked to perform different tasks to meet guest needs.
What Are We Looking For In You
- Passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for others.
- Previous experience in events serving is a plus.
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation to the hotel (no on-site parking).
