Role Description
The Assistant Manager role at Parkers Estate Agents is a full-time, on-site position based in Newbury. This role supports the Branch Manager in day-to-day operations, including overseeing property listings, coordinating viewings, and managing sales and lettings pipelines. The Assistant Manager helps lead the branch team, ensuring high standards of customer service, accurate documentation, and effective communication with buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants. Responsibilities include supporting marketing activities, monitoring branch performance, assisting with training and mentoring team members, and resolving issues to maintain smooth branch operations. The role also involves contributing to local business development initiatives and promoting Parkers' services within the community.
Qualifications
- Experience in residential property sales or lettings, with strong knowledge of estate agency processes and local market trends.
- Customer service and client relationship management skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, negotiations, and conflict resolution professionally.
- Team leadership and people management abilities, including mentoring staff, coordinating workloads, and supporting performance targets.
- Organizational and administrative skills, including managing schedules, maintaining accurate records, and working effectively with property management systems.
- Communication skills, with clear, professional verbal and written communication and confidence in face-to-face interactions.
