You understand what makes shoppers stop, choose and buy, so are you ready to turn that insight into compelling campaigns that deliver across the UK’s biggest retailers?
Parker Young is partnering with a major international food business to find a Shopper Marketing Manager who can connect brand ambition with what happens at the shelf and online.
With an established portfolio and a significant presence in UK grocery, this is a business offering scale, variety and the opportunity to make a visible commercial impact.
You’ll work closely with brand, commercial and category colleagues to bring products to life wherever shoppers encounter them.
The opportunity
You’ll own shopper marketing plans across key retail accounts, translating brand strategy, retailer priorities and shopper insight into activity that drives purchase.
From in-store displays and point-of-sale materials to retail media and digital content, you’ll shape campaigns from the initial idea through to execution and evaluation.
You’ll also strengthen how products appear on retailer websites, improving search visibility, imagery and content to help turn browsing into buying.
Building relationships will be central to your success.
You’ll work directly with retailer marketing teams to secure opportunities, brief agencies to deliver compelling creative and help account teams bring stronger activation plans into customer conversations.
You’ll have responsibility for budgets and performance, using sales uplift, incrementality and return on investment to understand what works and make the next campaign better.
What you’ll bring
You’ll have experience in shopper or customer marketing within UK FMCG, ideally food, and a strong understanding of grocery and convenience retail.
• We’d love to hear about your experience of
- Delivering shopper campaigns and managing retail media.
- Turning shopper and retailer data into clear recommendations, using tools such as Nielsen or Kantar.
- Briefing agencies and judging creative that works in a busy retail environment.
- Bringing sales, category and brand teams together around a shared plan.
- Managing budgets, deadlines and multiple campaigns with confidence.
You’ll combine creative judgement with commercial curiosity, be comfortable challenging an investment decision and care about the detail that makes an activation work.
Why consider it?
This is an opportunity to take ownership across the shopper journey, build relationships with major retailers and see your ideas come to life in-store and online.
You’ll join an international food business with scope to broaden your experience and develop your career.
