Our client is a leading Demolition and Civils Contractor, turning over approximately 250m. They take on complex schemes across London and take pride in their team's dedication to delivering on time and within budget. The right candidate will have a solid track record working on central London projects. They are currently seeking a skilled Assistant Project Manager/Section Engineer with experience working on demolition/Piling & RC works. Reporting to a Project Manager, the candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the planning, execution, and successful completion of a new flagship site in London. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead and drive projects to success in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of demolition/RC works, from inception to completion.
- Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules, and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and industry standards.
- Monitor and evaluate project performance, identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
- Manage procurement, subcontracting, and vendor relationships.
- Prepare and present project progress reports to senior management and clients.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Have a background in civil engineering and similar projects.
- Strong knowledge of demolition techniques, equipment, and regulations.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- MUST have UK/London experience.
- CSCS, SSSTS or SMSTS.
- Salary: 65K+ Car Allowance+ Travel Expenses.
