Demolition Project Engineer

Our client is a leading Demolition and RC Contractor, turning over approximately £150m. They take on complex schemes across the UK and take pride in their team\’s dedication to delivering on time and within budget. The right candidate will have a solid track record working on similar projects. They are currently seeking a skilled PROJECT ENGINEER with experience working on demolition projects with retained façade, basement rebuild and various RC works. Experience with Piling and temporary works is essential. Key Responsibilities: * Plan, coordinate, and assist all phases of demolition/RC works, from inception to completion. * Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and industry standards. * Monitor and evaluate project performance, identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as needed. * Liaise with Project Manager on basement rebuild sequence. * Oversee site engineers. * Report any changes to QS. * Heavily involved in design co-ordination and meetings. * Design & tech submittals * Quality Assurance – Highly important for permanent works. * Temporary works co-ordination Required Skills & Experience: * PILING & TEMPORARY WORKS EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL. * Bachelor\’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred). * Have a background in civil engineering and similar projects. * Strong knowledge of demolition techniques, equipment, and regulations. * Exceptional leadership and communication skills. * Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. * MUST have UK/London/Birmingham experience. * CSCS, SSSTS or SMSTS Offer: * Pay: £340 – 360 per day but negotiable for the right candidate. * Salary option if looking for a career with the company along with many benefits. * Long term work
