SEMH Primary Teacher Specialist SEMH School KS3 – KS3 working at primary level Pay scale MPS/UPS Immediate Start/January 2025 Location: Guildford, Surrey I am working with a therapeutic and gorgeous SEMH school in Guildford, Surrey, and they are looking to hire a qualified and experienced SEMH Primary Teacher to join their teaching team ASAP or for a January start. As a SEMH Primary Teacher, you will teach a small group of children in KS3 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Autism, ADHD, and associated learning difficulties. Due to their needs, they will be learning at the primary level. The school works to support students' academic, specialist and social needs. The students all have EHCPs and a variety of needs which includes SEMH, Behavioural Issues, ADHD, ASC, SLCN & Severe Social Anxieties. They offer a nurturing approach to education and social development and have a therapy team onsite working in various disciplines such as play, music, drama, art and family & LEGO therapy. They also have a strong relationship with CAMHS, the School Nursing Service and with the Early Help & Social Care team The role will be teaching a small class of SEMH students—up to 10—and a team of two teaching assistants will support you.
