We seek to appoint an ambitious SEND Science Teacher to work within a brand-new specialist SEND Primary and Secondary school in Redbridge. The school is a SEMH school for young people aged 7-16 who have a variety of needs, and all have an Education and Health Care Plan to support the delivery of meeting their needs. The class sizes are very small and focus on the individual needs of students who have often experienced trauma and adverse childhood experiences.
The SEND Science Teacher must be committed to improving the life chances of the children by allowing each child to leave the school with a successful transition to adulthood.
We are looking for a SEND Science Teacher who can:

Work alongside other Senior Leaders on developing the Curriculum and Teaching and Learning to ensure each child realises their potential.

Monitor pupil progress to ensure successful outcomes.

Be the senior leader with specific responsibility for behaviour and personal development.

Be a positive role model to support communication with a sensitive, nurturing, and consistent approach.

Ensuring a creative and rich curriculum both within and outside the classroom.
