Join the Connected Car function as an Integration Test Engineer where you’ll deliver engineering systems and components to meet the requirements of the Project Description Brochure and play a pivotal role in achieving engineering sign off for Connected Car systems and components through test and validation planning. Reporting into the Functional Manager your main responsibilities include. Specification, system integration, test and validation to achieve the quality targets for the project Construction and maintenance for a set of test rigs, test vehicles in Telematics, Connectivity, Infotainment and Diagnostic domain Flashing, coding and debugging analysis and problem solving on test benches and vehicles as well as VW backend Collecting, managing and analysing ECU logs to find the root cause and deliver solution to solve the problem Planning and managing project related activities on a weekly basis Working with cross-functional teams and suppliers to progress project deliverables Requirement analysis and development of test approach Conducting deep analysis of issues captured during your tests or of issues reported by the team and developers Skills and Experience A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience A good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ideally along with Agile principles Hands on experience in the Automotive domain Experience of vehicle network protocols such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay Automotive Ethernet in addition to diagnostics and ECU coding Experience in system testing and integration, manual testing, reporting and error management Experience with vehicle logs analysis such as DLT logs, Ethernet and CAN logs & Adherence to the VW standard VW99000 General Requirements Should you have experience working with VW tools such as ODIS, IDEX, VKMS, CP tool, ADB, Ethernet and/or MQTT that will be advantageous If you feel you have the skills and experience needed for this role; please do apply now.
