Parker Rhodes Hickmotts Solicitors are seeking to appoint experienced Residential Conveyancing staff within our busy Residential Conveyancing Team. The description covers two roles:
- Residential Conveyancing Executive
- Residential Conveyancing Assistant
Residential Conveyancing Executive – Responsibilities
- Handle all client matters in a professional, efficient and cost-effective way.
- Maintain a strong technical background of residential property work.
- Provide regular updates to clients and those associated with the case on current position.
- Provide support, as directed, to the Head of the Department.
- Have knowledge of IT and case management systems.
- Work to achieve personal targets, which will be revised annually.
Residential Conveyancing Executive – Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong technical background in residential property work.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience in dealing with sales and purchases for both registered and unregistered titles, Leasehold flats, Shared Ownership, Transfers of Equity and remortgages is preferential.
This is a permanent position with contracted hours 9:00 am to 5:15 pm, Monday to Friday; part-time may be considered. Your salary is dependent on your knowledge and experience.
Residential Conveyancing Assistant – Responsibilities
- Minimum two years’ recent experience in Residential Conveyancing.
- Experience with a Grade C GCSEs (or above) in English Language and Maths.
- Training will be provided.
- Duties include: preparing and providing quotes; sending out Contract Packs; completing matters and producing exchange and completion letters; preparing SDLT forms and applying for searches; preparing transfers/contracts/leases and other legal documents; preparing Completion Statements; dealing with Requisitions on Title; preparing AP1s and Land Registry documents; updating clients and agents; plus general admin work related to clients and third parties.
Residential Conveyancing Assistant – Qualifications
- Minimum two years’ recent experience in Residential Conveyancing.
- Grade C GCSEs (or above) in English Language and Maths.
- Training will be provided for the post and duties include those listed above.
