We are currently recruiting for a Project / Contracts Manager to join a well-established flooring contractor delivering a wide range of projects across London and the South East. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong flooring knowledge who is looking to progress their career within a growing and professional business.

- Commercial
- Residential
- Healthcare & Hospital environments
- Fit-out & refurbishment sectors
Project values typically range from £3,000 up to £80,000, with the successful candidate managing approximately 45 live projects at any one time.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects from pre-start through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to a high standard. You will work closely with clients, site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal management to ensure smooth project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing multiple flooring projects simultaneously
- Coordinating labour, subcontractors, and material deliveries
- Attending site meetings across London & the South East
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and site teams
- Managing programmes and ensuring deadlines are achieved
- Monitoring quality control and Health & Safety compliance
- Resolving site issues efficiently and professionally
- Assisting with procurement and project planning
- Managing project variations and reporting progress internally
Requirements
- Previous experience within the flooring industry
- Experience managing flooring projects or contracts
- Good understanding of flooring systems and subfloors/substrates
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise workload
- Client-facing and commercially aware
- Full UK Driving Licence
