Scheduler/ Planner required for a Heritage and Conservation contractor / builder in Wiltshire Great opportunity offering an excellent salary and internal progression Schedule management: Overseen portion of the project schedule, more specifically the activities related to project management, engineering and procurement for a large portion of the project. Ensures schedule quality (logic, clarity) and accuracy (update of dates, reflexion of the scope of supply). Coordination: Collaborates with engineering and sourcing functions in order to update the schedule based on their inputs. Also, collaborated with other planners on the project, especially the fabrication planner on site and to some extent also the product line planners and the lead EPC planner. Project management support: As the right hand man of the project manager and as such provides visibility on (1) look ahead of tasks to be performed in the 4 - 12 weeks (2) risks in schedules and mitigation actions (3) opportunities in the schedule. Reporting: Provides relevant reports to project management to ensure the Project Manager has all the tools required to make the right decisions driving on time and on budget of project execution. Client Support: Interact with the clients to provide update on schedules as well as explain the current situation / challenges / opportunities. Implementation of the integrated project planning initiative: Adhere to the approved processes and proactively drive implementation of new initiatives leading to fully integrated plan. Logic and Clarity: Support successful delivery of fully logically linked programmes that comply with the planning standard and client requirements. Ensure the programme covers all the contractual key milestones. Communicating: Develop and maintain excellent communication relationships with internal and external stakeholders to gather progress information for project /programme updates. Updating: Continuously monitor programmes to ensure they are updated to accurately reflect progress and reflect the revised forecast of the works and compare to baseline. In-depth Information: Provide sufficient detail on materials and plant to ensure the procurement teams have early visibility of the project requirements. Provide sufficient resource information to ensure any recruitment requirements are identified in a suitable timescale
