The tunnelling division focuses on technically challenging works including tunnel boring, shaft sinking, sprayed concrete lining, microtunnelling and associated underground civil engineering. Opportunity to work on major tunnelling projects using specialist equipment and techniques, alongside experienced engineering and construction teams.
As a shuttering Carpenter, you will be required to:
- Formation of framework
- Shuttering and bracing
- Preparation for concrete pours
- Reading and interpreting blueprints
- Ensure Health and Safety regulations are followed at all times
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Blue CSCS card
- NVQ Level 2 in Formwork
- Ability to work as part of a team and to understand and carry out instructions
- A good health and safety knowledge
- A good attitude & strong work ethic
- Be reliable, punctual, hardworking and maintain a professional attitude to all tasks
- Confined Space training would be advantageous
