Project Manager required for a main contractor specialising in civil engineering.

Client: SSEN – Distribution Network Operator (DNO)

Scope of works: Replacing power lines.

The framework agreement for 4 GSP (Grid Supply Points): Melksham, Mannington, Chickerell, Axminster.

Broad project locations: Bournemouth, Christchurch, Wareham, Poole, Chippenham.

Currently between the four areas they have around 85 live projects in Stage B (Detailed Design) and Stage C (Construction).

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in construction, engineering, and/or project management.
  • Minimum 3 years in project management.
  • BS Degree preferred (Engineering, Business, or Construction Management) - Desirable.
  • HS Diploma required - Desirable.
  • Primavera P6 knowledge/understanding.
  • SSEN Authorisations would also be desirable.
  • OSHA and construction safety familiarity.
  • Strong budgeting, scheduling, contract negotiation, and leadership skills.
