Client: SSEN – Distribution Network Operator (DNO)
Scope of works: Replacing power lines.
The framework agreement for 4 GSP (Grid Supply Points): Melksham, Mannington, Chickerell, Axminster.
Broad project locations: Bournemouth, Christchurch, Wareham, Poole, Chippenham.
Currently between the four areas they have around 85 live projects in Stage B (Detailed Design) and Stage C (Construction).
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in construction, engineering, and/or project management.
- Minimum 3 years in project management.
- BS Degree preferred (Engineering, Business, or Construction Management) - Desirable.
- HS Diploma required - Desirable.
- Primavera P6 knowledge/understanding.
- SSEN Authorisations would also be desirable.
- OSHA and construction safety familiarity.
- Strong budgeting, scheduling, contract negotiation, and leadership skills.
