We're working with a well-established and growing Building Management Systems specialist that's looking to add an experienced BMS Estimator to its commercial team based in Tunbridge Wells.

You'll play a key role in producing accurate and competitive quotations while working closely with the sales, engineering and project delivery teams.
The Role
As a BMS Estimator, you'll be responsible for preparing accurate and commercially viable estimates for Building Management System projects from tender documentation, drawings and specifications.
You'll work closely with internal teams and suppliers to ensure bids are technically robust, competitive and profitable.
Responsibilities
- Produce detailed cost estimates for BMS projects.
- Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
- Price hardware, software, labour and subcontractor costs.
- Prepare and support tender submissions within deadlines.
- Identify commercial risks, exclusions and opportunities.
- Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Work alongside sales and engineering teams throughout the bid process.
- Assist with project handovers following successful tenders.
- Maintain knowledge of current BMS products and market trends.
What We're Looking For
- Previous estimating experience within BMS, Controls, HVAC or Building Services.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong commercial awareness with excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and estimating software.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously.
