About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team. Reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Contracts Manager, the successful candidate will take ownership of the commercial management of assigned projects, supporting junior commercial staff where applicable.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the commercial running of assigned projects, ensuring accurate and timely valuations in line with contractual requirements
- Prepare and submit applications for payment, track payment certificates, and follow up on outstanding payments
- Identify, record, and value variations and dayworks
- Negotiate, agree, and close out final accounts
- Issue and manage Early Warning Notices (EWNs), Extensions of Time (EOTs), and associated tracker documents
- Review project cost reports
