We are looking for an experienced Floor Layer for a 12-week contract working on residential/social housing properties in the Portsmouth area. The role will involve the installation, repair, and replacement of Polysafe and other vinyl safety flooring within occupied and void properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of Polysafe safety flooring
- Cap and cove vinyl flooring installation
- Floor preparation including latex/self-levelling compounds
- Uplift and replacement of existing flooring
- Working in occupied and void properties
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines
- Adhering to health & safety procedures on site
Requirements:
- Proven experience fitting Polysafe flooring
- Experience in social housing or domestic maintenance preferred
- Own tools and transport
- CSCS card preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
- Good customer service and communication skills
Desirable:
- Asbestos awareness
- DBS check
- Experience with wet rooms and vinyl welding
