Business Development Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a well-established national property services contractor, based from their Swaffham office and responsible for developing new business opportunities across East Anglia and the Northern Home Counties.

This role is focused on identifying, developing and securing new opportunities within the social housing, public sector and commercial property markets.

This is an ideal opportunity for a commercially driven individual with an established network within the property services sector and a proven track record of securing planned maintenance, refurbishment, retrofit and compliance contracts.

Business Development

Identify, target and secure new business opportunities across East Anglia and the Northern Home Counties.

Develop and implement regional business development strategies to achieve growth objectives.

Generate new leads through networking, market intelligence and industry contacts.

Build a strong pipeline of opportunities across social housing, local authorities, education, healthcare and commercial sectors.

Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.

Act as the primary point of contact throughout the business development process.

Attend client meetings, networking events and industry conferences.

Assist in preparing high-quality PQQs, SQs, framework submissions and tender presentations.

Support pricing and commercial discussions where required.

Market Intelligence

Identify opportunities through public procurement frameworks and private sector developments.

Maintain an up-to-date CRM system with accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting.

Produce regular business development reports for senior management.

Work closely with Operational, Estimating and Commercial teams to ensure successful project mobilisation.

Support the development of strategic partnerships and framework agreements.

Commercially astute with strong business acumen.

Experience using CRM systems and preparing pipeline reports.

Full UK Driving Licence.

Experience working with major public sector and social housing procurement frameworks.
