Currently recruiting for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join a growing engineering team covering commercial and industrial sites across Manchester and the surrounding areas. Engineers will typically travel within a 50-mile radius of Manchester, with occasional overnight stays required depending on project and service demands. The successful candidate will be responsible for service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair work on a range of refrigeration systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintenance, and reactive breakdown support on commercial and industrial refrigeration systems
- Fault finding and diagnostics on a variety of equipment including pack systems, cold rooms, chillers, and associated plant
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company and industry standards
- Completing service reports and documentation accurately
- Providing excellent customer service while on client sites
- Participating in on-call rota where required
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Refrigeration Engineer in commercial and/or industrial environments
- F-Gas qualified
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working on refrigeration systems such as CO2, HFC, pack systems, cold rooms, or chillers desirable
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
