We are currently seeking an experienced M&E Engineer to join a well-established building services maintenance team to work across London and the South East. The role will involve working across high-end residential and office blocks carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on a wide range of mechanical and electrical building systems. This is a varied, hands-on position suited to someone confident working independently in plant rooms and building services environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical and electrical systems
  • Diagnose and repair faults on HVAC and building services equipment
  • Service and maintain Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
  • Work on heating systems, including control interfaces and heating circuits
  • Attend reactive breakdowns and restore systems to full working order
  • Inspect, test, and maintain ventilation and cooling systems
  • Work with pumps, valves, and associated mechanical plant
  • Basic fault finding on electrical systems linked to HVAC equipment
  • Complete service reports and job documentation accurately
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures on all sites
