Working on commercial contracts
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned and reactive fabric maintenance across GTR stations
- Work on a variety of fabric trades including carpentry, patch plastering, painting, basic plumbing, flooring and general building repairs
- Receive and check deliveries of materials
- Complete job worksheets and submit weekly paperwork
- Assess asset condition and report any life-expired items
- Order materials required for works and assist with remedial costings
- Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with contract requirements
- Proven experience as a Fabrics / Multitrade Engineer
- Strong all-round building maintenance skillset
- Relevant qualifications
- Ability to work independently in a mobile role
- Full UK driving licence
- Salary up to £40,000 per annum
- Door-to-door pay
- Company vehicle, iPhone, iPad
- Overtime and call-out opportunities available
- Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:30
- Additional hours as required depending on workload
- Occasional weekend working
- Participation in an out-of-hours call-out rota 1 in 4 (however it's more like 1 in 6)
