We are currently seeking an experienced Refrigeration / Air Conditioning Service Engineer to join a growing, family‑run building services business.
This is a field‑based role covering London and the South Eastern region, with the majority of work centred around East London.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive breakdowns, servicing and commissioning works
- Maintain a majority service‑focused workload (~95%) with a small proportion of installation work
- Work across commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems (approximately 50/50 split)
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard
- Represent the company professionally across client sites
- Support the growth and structure of the service function as it develops
- Candidate Requirements
- Proven background in refrigeration and/or air conditioning service engineering
- Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
- Confident working independently across varied commercial environments
- Ability to manage workload and respond effectively to reactive demands
- Must be able to work across London and surrounding areas
- Ideally based in Essex, East London or Kent (East London preferred)
- Short notice period preferred
- Must not be self‑employed
Package & Benefits
