Job Title: Electrical Installation Engineer (Commercial Fit-Out & Testing) Location: National Travel (UK-wide) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: £55,000 (based on experience) + Travel Expenses + Benefits Reports To: Project Manager / Contracts Manager Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Installation Engineer to join our growing team. This is a field-based role requiring national travel to various restaurant, commercial, and office sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical installations and testing work in line with industry standards and client specifications. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out full electrical installations for restaurant fit-outs, commercial units, and office refurbishments. * Perform periodic inspection, testing, and certification in accordance with BS7671 (18th Edition). * Work from technical drawings, plans, and specifications to deliver compliant installations. * Liaise with site managers, project teams, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery. * Complete required documentation including Electrical Installation Certificates (EICs), Minor Works, and Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs). * Adhere to health and safety regulations and company procedures on-site at all times. * Maintain tools, equipment, and materials to a professional standard. * Travel to multiple sites across the UK, occasionally with overnight stays as required. * Support junior electricians and apprentices on-site when necessary.
