We are working on behalf of a well-established client to recruit an experienced BMS Project Manager to join their growing team based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to take ownership of high-value BMS projects across the West Midlands, with occasional travel further afield (fully expensed).
The successful candidate will manage projects from post-quotation stage through to final handover, ensuring delivery is safe, on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage BMS projects through design, installation, commissioning, and handover
- Take full ownership of projects valued up to £1M
- Produce and manage project documentation including technical submittals, drawings, O&M manuals, and reports
- Ensure quality and design standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor project programmes to achieve milestones
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams
- Support and coordinate installation and commissioning engineers
- Lead and mentor a small team of project engineers
- Proven experience delivering BMS projects from design to completion
- Strong technical background in BMS engineering and/or project management
- Experience with one or more of the following systems: Trend, Tridium, Delta, Cylon (ABB), Distech
- Strong commercial awareness and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability
- CSCS Card (or equivalent)
- Full UK Driving Licence
