Reports to: Lead AC Installer / Installation Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and motivated AC Install Mate to assist our HVAC installation team in delivering high-quality air conditioning installations across residential and commercial properties. The successful candidate will work closely with the lead installer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the installation of HVAC units including split systems, ducted units, VRV/VRF systems, and associated components.
  • Carry, load, and unload materials, tools, and equipment on job sites.
  • Help prepare work areas, including measuring and laying out ductwork and piping routes.
  • Support with connecting refrigerant lines, electrical wiring, and drain lines under supervision.
  • Use hand and power tools to assist with ductwork, mounting brackets, and insulation.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized during and after installation.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies on-site.
  • Provide general support to lead installers and other team members.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a construction, mechanical, or HVAC support role preferred.
  • Basic understanding of HVAC systems and tools is an advantage.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license (preferred; as you will need to get to the installers house).
