Responsibilities
- Ensure parts are produced on a right-first-time basis.
- Be responsible for the timely completion of work tasks in line with Methods of Manufacture, Job Card and the logging of job progress in Single Point (Time Keeping System).
- Ensure any calibrated equipment used is within date.
- Highlight non-conformances to the Process Team Leader.
- Adhere to the requirements of the Meggitt Methods of Manufacture and Quality Procedures.
- Comply with all risk assessments and company Environment, Health & Safety procedures relevant to all work activities.
- Report all incidents, accidents and near misses as per the company’s procedure and implement identified corrective actions.
- Maintain good housekeeping in designated work area(s).
Qualifications
- Must have a recognised and relevant apprenticeship and significant previous composites manufacturing experience in an aircraft production environment.
- Able to work to Methods of Manufacture.
- Must be capable of lone working and in small teams.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and techniques with a willingness to support and contribute to the Meggitt continuous improvement initiative.
- Self-motivated team player with good communication skills.
