Responsibilities:

  • Prepare component surfaces using Vapour blasters, Orbital sanders and manual sanding techniques.
  • Effectively mask components prior to paint application using masking tapes and paper.
  • Mix paint by volume and viscosity to approved documentation and specifications.
  • Competent in setting/adjusting spray guns to required settings and to maintain spray equipment in a good, clean condition.
  • Apply paint by brush and spray techniques to process documentation and specifications.
  • Other production duties in-line with the business requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
  • Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of relevant field is required.
  • Ability to read various instructions.
  • Able to problem-solve using existing procedures to perform straightforward tasks.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Proficient computer skills.
