We are seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to lead health, safety, and environmental excellence through visible leadership, practical coaching, and disciplined compliance. What You’ll Do:
- Promoting a strong safety culture through active floor presence, employee engagement, coaching, and proactive hazard recognition.
- Driving EHS training programmes and maintaining the training matrix for employees, with particular focus on:
- Welding and cutting
- Fumes and ventilation
- Machinery safety
- Cranes, rigging, and material handling
- Permit to Work
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
- Ensuring regulatory compliance with applicable legislation, industry standards, and Parker corporate/divisional procedure.
- Investigating incidents and near misses, identifying root causes, and implementing effective corrective and preventative actions.
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS policies, programmes, and procedures to safeguard personnel and support operational excellence.
- Conducting safety audits aligned to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, along with inspections and investigations of work environments, processes, and operations.
- Maintaining permits, records, and reports to ensure ongoing audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
- Partnering with the Safety Starpoint team to analyse hazardous situations, define actions, and empower employees to achieve departmental safety goals and objectives.
