We are seeking a skilled Electrical/Electronic Engineer to join our team, focusing on the design, development, and support of industrial products. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical and electronic systems engineering within industrial environments and will be responsible for delivering innovative, reliable, and compliant product solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop specifications, interpret customer specifications and translate them into development work packages.
- Design, develop, and test electrical and electronic systems for industrial products including hardware and firmware components.
- Write, test, and debug embedded software in C/C++ or similar languages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Mechanical Engineers, Product Managers, and Manufacturing to ensure seamless product integration.
- Create and review detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB layouts.
- Perform system-level simulations and analyses to validate designs.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, test and validation plans.
- Support prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting activities in the lab and field.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and safety regulations (e.g. EMC, LVD, UL, CE).
- Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and failure mode analyses (FMEA).
- Provide technical support to manufacturing and after-sales teams.
- Continuously improve product designs to enhance performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to industrial electronics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in system and product design, encompassing the entire development lifecycle from initial concept through to manufacturing and production.
- Proven experience with embedded systems and microcontroller-based design.
- Hands‑on experience in developing, testing, and deploying control logic for industrial products.
- Experience in embedded programming (C/C++ or similar).
- Experience with circuit design, simulation tools and PCB design software.
- Prototype/Product testing and validation experience including fault finding and circuit debugging.
- Familiarity with wiring and cabling standards for industrial applications.
- Hands‑on experience with testing equipment and lab instrumentation (oscilloscopes, etc.).
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
