The Role:
We are seeking a Brazing Assembly Operator to support the assembly of precision aerospace components and operation of vacuum brazing processes within a manufacturing environment. This role will involve assembling collared springs and associated components, preparing parts for brazing, operating vacuum furnaces and completing quality documentation. You will play a key role in ensuring products are manufactured safely, accurately and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities of the role:

Assemble collared springs and precision aerospace components in line with engineering drawings and work instructions.

Prepare, load and operate vacuum brazing furnaces, following approved process parameters and quality standards.

Carry out visual inspections and quality checks to ensure components meet specification requirements.

Complete production records, traceability documentation and quality paperwork accurately.

Support general manufacturing and assembly activities while maintaining high standards of housekeeping and process compliance.
Skills required:

Previous assembly experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Experience of brazing processes, with vacuum brazing experience highly desirable.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and route cards.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, traceability and controlled processes.

Forming experience would be advantageous.
