The Role:
We are seeking a Quality Inspector to support the manufacture of carbon heat packs used within aircraft braking systems. This is a key role within a busy production environment, ensuring products meet the required quality, safety and regulatory standards before being released to customers.
Responsibilities of the role:

Carry out CMM inspection activities and generate inspection reports to verify product conformity.

Perform final inspection of components and assemblies using a range of precision measuring equipment.

Conduct calibration audits and maintain quality and inspection documentation.

Review engineering drawings and quality documentation to ensure compliance with specifications.

Investigate and support resolution of quality issues, including material defects and basic machining errors.
Skills required:

Experience in a quality inspection role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Experience using measuring equipment such as micrometres, verniers and gauges.

Experience carrying out CMM and final inspection activities

Aerospace manufacturing experience would be advantageous
