Position Summary: Responsibility to undertake repair and overhaul activities on MRO products to the service and quality level expected of a world class support organization. To ensure that we satisfy customer orders and achieve our contracted turn around.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake repair and overhaul across the complete MRO product range.
- Carry out appropriate repair schemes and test schemes in accordance with the procedures and documentation.
- Operate equipment/machinery required to carry out repair and overhaul activities, and clean machinery used and perform basic maintenance.
- Inspect products in accordance with component maintenance manuals provide detailed inspection/strip reports and spares requirement sheets.
- Oversee work that has been carried out by other technicians.
- Sign off the appropriate documentation for the work carried out.
- Support customer AOG requirements.
- Responsible for the associated paperwork that supports the manufacturing documentation required for the product being processed.
- To maintain good housekeeping and 6‑S in the work area.
- Comply with company and HS&E and quality procedures.
- To ensure compliance with any regulations for the control of technical data (i.e. DFARS, ITAR etc).
Qualifications:
- Engineering background - 1 years similar experience in an engineering manufacturing facility making a similar product.
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Operate equipment and machinery.
- Can use measuring equipment, (Vernier, Micrometer, Go/No GO, Shadow graph, CMM, etc.)
- An understanding of torque values and or equipment associated with the assembly process.
- Basic assembly skills example fitting of thread inserts and lee pin plugs is essential.
- Knowledge of using Hydraulic/ Pneumatic test rigs.
- Knowledge of SAP, Excel, Word (Desirable).
