Position Summary

The Role: Step into a high-responsibility aerospace quality role. Are you an experienced aerospace inspector with a strong eye for detail and a passion for ensuring product quality at the highest level? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading aerospace manufacturing environment in a Final Inspection role, with a clear pathway to progress into DQR (Designated Quality Representative) authority following product training and development. Responsibilities

  • Carry out final / end-of-line inspection of aerospace components and assemblies
  • Inspect precision parts such as heat exchangers and air/oil coolers
  • Work from engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Use inspection equipment including micrometers, plug gauges, height gauges, and verniers
  • Record inspection results and manage data using SAP
  • Identify and raise non-conformance issues (NCRs)
  • Support product release and quality assurance processes
  • Progress into DQR customer sign-off responsibilities (approx. 6 months training period)

Qualifications

Skills required:

  • Aerospace manufacturing or inspection experience
  • Experience in final inspection / end-of-line quality inspection
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Competent with basic measuring tools (micrometers, gauges, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of quality processes and documentation
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
