The Role

We’re looking for an experienced setter or operator to join a highly skilled manufacturing team producing precision heat exchange components used in aerospace airflow testing systems. • Setting and adjusting press tooling and machine parameters
  • Changing gear/tooth positions on top and bottom systems per job
  • Monitoring air and oil flow systems (“air thin / oil thin” controls)
  • Resetting machine indexing systems when airflow or cycle conditions change
  • Running coil-based production processes
  • Ensuring consistent, high-quality output

This is a role for someone who understands machines mechanically – not just digitally.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Press Setter / Press Operator
  • Strong mechanical understanding of press systems
  • Ability to use measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges)
  • Experience in automotive, aerospace, or precision engineering
  • NVQ in Press Setting or equivalent hands‑on experience

  • Competitive pay package
  • Career progression opportunities
  • Pension up to 10% company contribution
  • Holiday 25 plus statutory holidays
  • Subsidised canteen with Starbucks
  • Life assurance
