Summary Position Summary The successful candidate will be able to independently operate as a multi-skilled, adaptable Composite Laminator. Working with pre-preg carbon fibre, the composite Laminator will be responsible for kitting, layup, bagging and de-bagging of the component. The successful candidate should be able to work to complex engineering drawings and with moulds to produce high precision composite components. Responsibilities Responsibilities Carry out Tool preparation, (clean and apply Release Agent). Kit and lay-up operations, cut kit of materials for build sequence, Warp and Weft. Layup material on to mould surface correct orientation and build sequence. Vacuum bagging techniques (Manufacture breather bag material kit). Cure operations to agreed engineering methods and processes using various plant and process equipment (Autoclaves, Ovens and Vacuum pumps). Support and conform to Quality procedures to maintain compliance, by ensuring adherence to the defined processes and procedures. Always adhere to Parker Meggitt Health and Safety at work Regulations.
