Core Responsibilities
- Prepare component surfaces using Vapour blasters, Orbital sanders and manual sanding techniques.
- Effectively mask components prior to paint application using masking tapes and paper.
- Mix paint by volume and viscosity to approved documentation and specifications.
- Competent in setting/adjusting spray guns to required settings and to maintain spray equipment in a good, clean condition.
- Apply paint by brush and spray techniques to process documentation and specifications.
- Other production duties in-line with the business requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
- Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field.
- Experience: 0-2 years of relevant field is required.
- Ability to read various instructions.
- Able to problem-solve using existing procedures to perform straightforward tasks.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Proficient computer skills.
