Position Summary
The Role: This is a hands-on Process Technician role, where you will be responsible for building, modifying, reworking and testing electronic assemblies that support critical aerospace products. You will be working with small tools, carrying out assembly activities, conducting basic testing and helping ensure products meet the required standards before they are released to customers.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Operate processes and to build and test sub-assemblies in accordance with procedures and instructions
- Carry out basic rework and modifications in accordance with relevant instructions
- Complete test reports and other relevant documentation
- Conduct basic pass / fail test routines
- Carry out finishing operations prior to shipment to customer
- Maintain input to business information systems as appropriate
Qualifications
Skills required:
- Electronic manufacturing background
- Experience in PCB rework and soldering (surface mount)
- Good with small tooling
- Able to work with documentation
- Willing to flag issues
- General mechanical and electrical assembly
