Responsibilities
- To learn and understand all aspects of the Welding manufacture processes for Heatric as follows:
- Complete welds on basic non-complex structure, supports, block to block and light low pressure header wedges.
- Welding PCHE to comply with ASME IX standards.
- Carry out Heatric Lifting operations.
- Carry out Grinding and welding support activities.
- Completion of college assignments as set by tutor.
- Understand and ability to work with lean manufacturing tools (6S, basic problem solving, 5 Whys, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety and environmental practices.
Education
GCSE – Grade 4 or above must include: Maths, English and Science or Technology Subjects (Resistant materials & Engineering).
Skills
- Good written communication and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Well-organised, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise duties with minimal supervision, in order to meet deadlines.
