We’re looking for a hands-on Production Operator to join a growing aerospace manufacturing team supporting the production of gas turbine components used in aircraft. This isn’t a typical assembly role. You’ll be working at the front end of the manufacturing process, cutting and preparing critical components to exact specifications, playing a key role in ensuring quality from the very start. If you enjoy working with machines, using measuring tools, and taking pride in accuracy and high-quality work, this role will suit you.

Responsibilities:

  • Cutting materials and components to precise sizes and dimensions
  • Operating workshop machinery such as chop saws, guillotines, and hand presses
  • Preparing parts coming from previous production stages for further processing
  • Measuring components using Vernier callipers and gauges
  • Checking your own work to ensure it meets tight tolerances and quality standards
  • Using a mix of machine operation and hands-on manual work (approx. 50/50 split)

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or workshop environment
  • Hands-on experience with cutting, fabrication, or machine operation
  • Ability to use measuring tools (Vernier callipers, gauges, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to precise dimensions
  • Comfortable taking responsibility for checking and inspecting your own work

Benefits:

  • Free car parking
  • Competitive pay package
  • Career progression opportunities
