In this role you will be responsible for supporting production operations with a firm understanding of aerospace quality requirements and design principles. Your focus will be on sustaining engineering and improvements in engineering. Developing and recommending solutions to well-defined engineering requirements; ensuring that design objectives are met.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Developing detailed product specifications by analyzing performance and customer requirements, investigating design factors such as function, materials, and cost, and ensuring clarity and compliance with standards.
  • Performing feasibility and trade studies, validating test results for accuracy, and ensuring adherence to product qualification procedures to meet reliability and safety standards.
  • Providing technical information and documentation for product engineering teams, assisting in writing technical reports and proposals, and contributing to project milestones by creating functional diagrams and reviewing designs.
  • Maintaining professional knowledge through workshops and publications, mentoring new employees, and representing the company on specific engineering projects while sharing specialized knowledge with the team.
