Position Summary
- Location: Fareham
- Hours: 37.5 hpw - twilight shift but training on days
- Duration: Permanent
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate electronic test and calibration equipment in accordance with approved instructions, specifications and procedures.
- Carry out verification, bonding and installation testing on electronic and electromechanical products.
- Perform fault finding, troubleshooting and failure analysis on analogue and digital circuitry to component level.
- Produce detailed failure reports and root cause analysis to support Production and Engineering teams.
- Support repair, assembly and diagnostic activities including component replacement where required.
- Accurately record test results and maintain compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
- Work safely within ESD-controlled environments and follow all company policies and procedures.
- Support multiple product lines and departments as business requirements dictate.
Qualifications
- Experience in electronic testing, diagnostics, calibration or fault finding within a manufacturing environment.
- Skilled in the use of electronic test equipment, measurement instruments and soldering equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, specifications and test procedures.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- IPC certification and/or J-STD knowledge would be advantageous.
- Aerospace, defence, power supply or other electronics manufacturing experience would be beneficial.
