Your responsibilities:
- Lead and support system verification activities, including system tests, qualification tests, and flight tests.
- Prepare qualification plans, procedures, and reports to support programme delivery.
- Support system certification and customer approval activities.
- Follow robust configuration control, review, and change management processes.
- Assist with the preparation of estimates, task lists, and risk management plans.
- Build strong customer relationships by responding to requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and internal departments across the business.
- Work with external subcontract organisations where required.
Who we are looking for:
- A degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and team‑building skills.
- Sound decision‑making ability.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to gather data, compile information, prepare reports, and present findings.
- A well‑organised, detail‑oriented approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- The ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and deliver to deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web browsers.
- Intermediate knowledge of PC software applications and a strong understanding of PC operating systems.
Ideally you will also have:
- Experience in the aerospace industry, carrying out Environmental and EMC qualification testing in accordance with DO‑160G or equivalent military standards.
