The Group Key Account Manager will lead business development and relationship management for one of our largest aerospace customers. Acting as the primary liaison between the customer and Parker across multiple divisions, products, and sites. The role is responsible for securing new business, maintaining existing revenues, and managing complex customer programs from pursuit through production, with regular engagement across customer teams, division leadership, and senior executives.
Your responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customer stakeholders across engineering, procurement, MRO, and operational teams.
- Identify and pursue profitable new business opportunities by analysing customer needs, market trends, competition, pricing, and programme viability.
- Act as the key link between customers, Parker groups, and divisions, ensuring timely communication on programme progress, business requirements, and strategic opportunities.
- Support commercial activities including proposal development, contract negotiations, renewals, and customer meetings while safeguarding Parker’s business and intellectual property interests.
- Provide customer-facing technical and business support, including presentations, issue resolution, crisis management, and insight into future aerospace and engineering trends.
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, or a related field required; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years’ progressive experience in technical sales or marketing, ideally including 5+ years in senior programme management or major account responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of company products, technologies, regulations, and customer support requirements across airline, military, or OEM markets.
- Solid understanding of contractual terms, financial modelling, proposal evaluation, and business case development.
- Proven experience in programme management, business processes, proposal development, and use of business applications, including Salesforce.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to lead responses to customers, regulators, and senior internal or external stakeholders.
