As the Aftermarket Business Development Leader, you will provide expertise to manage airline programs in strategy, sales and marketing initiatives, as well as ensuring profitable growth in sales revenues through planning and deployment. In this position you’ll identify objectives and action plans to improve short and long‑term sales and company growth to fulfil our Win Strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Accountable to lead platform strategies on pricing, contracts and customer service.
- Coordinate in a matrix organization within regional sales representatives to assure a consistent global perspective.
- Preparation and presentation at Request for Approval (RFA) meetings, to both division and Aerospace Group staff.
- Salesforce Maintenance of Customers, Opportunities and Strategic Actions.
- Regular customer engagement, preferably face‑to‑face, for relationship building and intelligence gathering.
Essential skills and experience you’ll need to be considered for this position
- 5-10 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Good level of business acumen.
- Regular domestic and international travel (up to 40%) required to support customer interaction and business requirements.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new ways of working.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Aerospace industry experience within the braking systems division.
- Technical degree (Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical).
