  • Your responsibilities
  • Handle customer complaints via Siebel, work with internal stakeholders for root cause analysis.
  • Material Test Certification of product shipments to international and customer standards requirements.
  • Report quality deviations to the Quality team, work with the team to deliver thorough CAPA measures by problem solving.
  • Goods inwards inspection and documentation as required.
  • Support the team with attending quality ANDON’s in timely manner.
  • Take part in any activities relating to the assurance of Quality such as internal audits/product audits.
  • Support calibration of all measuring equipment.
  • Supplier interaction and development - raise Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR) and follow up.
  • Support actions of the Quality Starpoint team.
  • Attend classes and maintain good progress with studies submitting assignments and coursework in good time.
  • What you will learn

Through the Quality Technician Level 4 Apprenticeship, learners gain the practical knowledge, skills and behaviours required to support quality improvement across the organisation.

You will develop the ability to

  • Support and maintain quality management systems.
  • Conduct internal audits and support audit preparation activities.
  • Analyse data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Carry out root cause analysis and support corrective actions.
  • Promote continuous improvement across teams and departments.
  • Support compliance and contribute to more informed decision-making.

Who we are looking for

  • A genuine interest in quality assurance, engineering, manufacturing, or technical operations.
  • Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • The ability to communicate clearly with colleagues, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Confidence working with documentation, records, and digital systems.
  • A willingness to learn structured problem-solving and audit techniques.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • A proactive mindset and commitment to doing things correctly and safely.
  • Applicants should have achieved a Level 3 qualification or equivalent before September 2026, ideally gained through an engineering-related apprenticeship or similar technical programme.
