About the Firm
Our client is a specialist private client law firm and tax practice, with offices in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London. They act for a wide range of private clients across a multitude of sectors. A new permanent part‑time requirement has arisen in their organisation for a full or part time Senior Tax Advisor.
Reporting and Responsibilities
Reporting into one of the Partners, you will be responsible for working with private clients, advising on the following:
- Tax advisory reports, covering a wide variety of specific tax topics.
- Income tax.
- IHT computations.
- Capital gain tax.
- Estates.
- Trusts.
- Some personal tax compliance.
Aside from advising clients, you will also be a key part of the management team, working closely with the Trusts Director and the Partners. You will also be responsible for:
- Mentoring a Tax Assistant.
- Looking for opportunities to win new business, to assist with the growth of the firm.
Qualifications
Candidates that apply must have previous Private Tax experience, ideally at a supervisory level. You should be a CTA qualified with a high level of technical tax knowledge within the UK. You must be comfortable managing a busy portfolio of clients and possess excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
Offer
On offer is a salary between £65-85k pro rata (depending on experience), life insurance and benefit protection, flexibility on hybrid working hours (full or part time), flexibility on location - could be based out of their London, Buckinghamshire or Oxfordshire offices. More junior CTA qualified Tax types would also be considered.
