Our client within the the building and construction space, are seeking a Sales Manager to join their busy team.
Managing a team of 4, who deal with inbound enquiries , you will play a pivotal role in shaping the growth of a premium, values-driven brand within the architectural industry. Your experience in luxury or premium sectors, where attention to detail, relationship-building, and exceptional service are paramount, will be key. You will nurture long-term leads and guide them through a sophisticated, consultative sales journey.
In this role, you will lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing inbound sales team while ensuring smooth operational processes and back-office support functions. Your leadership will drive both sales growth and operational efficiency to maintain alignment between sales activities and administrative processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, coach, and develop the inbound sales and back-office support teams.
- Foster a collaborative, customer-focused culture.
- Set and track sales targets and performance metrics through regular reviews and development plans.
Sales Operations & Process Optimisation
- Oversee lead management, CRM updates, order processing, documentation, and reporting.
- Streamline end-to-end sales processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Ensure alignment between sales activities and back-office support.
Customer Experience & Strategic Reporting
- Ensure seamless coordination between sales and customer service teams.
- Monitor key sales metrics and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Continuously refine customer engagement strategies to improve satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications and Experience:
Qualifications:
Leadership or management training/certifications (e.g., ILM, CMI Level 3+ in Management and Leadership).
Degree or relevant qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not essential).

- Experience in integrating sales with marketing and customer service to ensure a seamless customer journey.
Scaling & Continuous Improvement
- Ability to analyse performance data and embed processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
This role is office based, however there is a possibility of hybrid working 1 day per week, but due to the nature of the role you are expected to be present in the office the majority of the time.
In return our client offers a generous base salary of £45,000-£50,000 with a good bonus structure, enhanced holiday, an EV car scheme and other additional benefits.
