This is a genuinely rewarding role where your work will have real impact, shaping the skills, confidence and careers of colleagues across multiple UK sites.
Reporting to the HR Manager, you'll be the engine behind our L&D activity — from induction programmes and compliance training to career development initiatives and external partnerships.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing and managing induction plans for all new starters, from day one through to successful completion of probation.
- Working with managers to identify, prioritise and address training needs across the business.
- Arranging in-house and external training — including compliance, business-wide and individually tailored programmes.
- Delivering and adapting training content to suit different learning styles.
- Design, develop and evaluate learner-focused training materials, guides, workshops and learning interventions that improve business performance.
- Sourcing external suppliers and negotiating the best rates to stay within budget.
- Identifying grants, funding opportunities and apprenticeship levy options to maximise the training budget.
- Writing proposals to access free or subsidised training.
- Building relationships with colleges, universities and community groups to create work placement and volunteering pipelines.
- Identifying mentors and champions to support a culture of learning.
- Contributing to employee retention through meaningful development initiatives.
- Ensuring health & safety training is current and all colleagues remain legally compliant.
What We're Looking For
- Solid experience in L&D co-ordination or training administration.
- Experience delivering training content is a bonus, but not essential.
- A genuine passion for people development and continuous improvement.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage colleagues at all levels.
- Resourceful, proactive and comfortable working autonomously.
- Willingness to travel across the UK as required.
- Good understanding of learning principles and adult training methodologies.
- Ability to work with managers to identify underlying business challenges and recommend appropriate solutions, recognising that training may not always be the answer.
Why Join Us?
We offer a genuinely excellent benefits package, including:
- Competitive salary based on experience.
- 25 days holiday plus birthday off.
- Enhanced pension.
- Enhanced maternity & paternity leave.
- Life assurance.
- Private healthcare plan.
This is more than a co-ordination role — it's a chance to build something. If you thrive in an environment where your ideas are welcomed and your work genuinely makes a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
