Thunderbird Fried Chicken is on a mission to make ‘Fried Chicken Great Again’.
Since starting in street food in 2017, Thunderbird Fried Chicken has gained popularity in London, developing a loyal following of Fried Chicken enthusiasts. Founded by Matt Harris, a self-described ‘food nerd’ with a background in competitive motorsports and a passion for American soul food from the Deep South.
After returning to London, Matt launched the BBQ Lab, which evolved into Thunderbird Fried Chicken. His renowned ‘Chipuffalo Wing’ won the 2015 Wing Fest competition for London\’s best wings. Our goal is to create the best fried chicken, loved by our fans.

What you’ll be doing:
- Maintaining high standards of presentation both front and back of house.
- Operating in line with brand standards.
- Preparing and cooking food to a high standard.
- Reporting any weaknesses or breaches in the company’s information systems or services.
- Ensuring health, safety, and safeguarding responsibilities are met, reporting concerns, and cooperating with management.
What we are looking for in a fry-tastic Crew Member:
- A passion for delivering an excellent guest experience and serving great fried chicken.
- A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a desire to deliver Gold Standard service.
- Strong communication skills and openness to feedback.
