A Unique Opportunity Based Within Our New SEMH ARP
We are proud to be opening a brand-new Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Additional Resource Provision (ARP) this September at a separate, dedicated site in Haringey. We are looking for passionate, resilient, and dedicated staff to help us build an exceptional environment where every young person can thrive. This role will be primarily based within the ARP, supporting students in Years 7–11 who have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) for SEMH needs. The provision will offer a tailored, flexible curriculum shaped around the individual needs, strengths, and interests of our students, ensuring meaningful, holistic learning in a nurturing and structured environment.
The role will require working across the main Park View School site where required, however the core focus of this role is within the Additional Resource Provision. We are seeking an experienced, talented, enthusiastic, and committed Teacher of English & Media Studies to join our vibrant and ambitious school community. This position is not suitable for Early Careers Teachers (ECTs). This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire young people and make a meaningful impact in a diverse, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and appropriately challenging lessons that inspire a love of English, enabling all students to make strong progress through a flexible and responsive approach to teaching.
- Teach Media Studies across key stages, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and analytical skills with the ability to adapt content to meet diverse learning and SEMH needs.
- Is an excellent classroom practitioner with the ability to build strong, positive relationships with students.
- Has strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach both English and Media Studies across all year groups.
- Is passionate about social justice and committed to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Has high expectations for all students and is dedicated to ensuring outstanding progress over time, regardless of starting point.
- Is reflective, resilient and motivated with a willingness to adapt practice to meet the needs of students with SEMH needs.
You will be part of a supportive and innovative English and Media department, based at the main school site working with a team of passionate professionals who are committed to both staff and student well-being. You will also play a key role in our brand new SEMH ARP, helping to shape a specialist provision from the ground up and making a meaningful difference to students who need it most.
