We are recruiting two Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) Practitioners to join our Inclusion Team at Park View, a high performing, diverse and inclusive community school in Tottenham, North London. This role will be primarily based within a newly opened Additional Resource Provision (ARP) in Haringey. The successful candidates will support students in Years 7–11 who have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) for SEMH needs and may be required to work across sites.

Key details:

  • Outer London Pay Scale 6 (18‑20) pro‑rata (Term‑time only)
  • Fixed‑Term Contract – 2 years, starting September 2026

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted SEMH and SEND interventions.
  • Provide mentoring and emotional wellbeing support.
  • Act as a key worker for identified pupils.
  • Support pupils with behavioural, emotional, and learning needs.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress and intervention outcomes.
  • Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies.
  • Promote positive behaviour through restorative and nurturing approaches.
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience supporting children and young people with SEMH and/or SEND needs.
  • Empathetic, patient, and able to build positive relationships.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

Additional Information:

  • Location: Park View, West Green Road, London N15 3QR; new ARP site in Haringey.
  • The role may involve travel between sites.
  • Contract: Fixed‑Term 2 years, term‑time only, pro‑rata pay.
  • Start date: September 2026.
